Ravens at Bengals

Well here is the most important divisional game for the Ravens so far this year. It's a bigger deal because of the lost to the Bengals earlier this year when they came to Baltimore.

The key points will be stopping Cedric Benson without Haloti Ngata. The Ravens also must stop Carson Palmer from consistently connecting deep ball with his plethora of receivers. DC(Defensive Coordinator) Mattison dialed up the pressure last week against the Broncos. This week he MUST get just as much or more pressure on Carson Palmer otherwise it will be a long embarrassing day for the defense.

On offense, they must be able to drive down the field on this defense. Odom, their sack leader, is out for the season so their pass rush may be easier to contain. Derrick Mason must catch the ball! Last game vs the Bengals he did not have a single catch. The final way for the offense to be successful is to continue to get Ray Rice involved in every way possible. Let him catch some check downs and/or run the ball in the I formation. He is one of the best open field runners in NFL and only good things can come if the ball is in his hands.

One would think that going to Cincinatti would be a huge disadvatage for the Ravens but I do not think the crowd will be much of a factor. The Ravens have played well on the road ever since John Harbaugh became the head coach. If the Ravens play good fundamental football, do not turn it over, and force their opponents to make some mistakes they should come out victorious.

Pick- Ravens 24 Bengals 20
