Drake sets official album release date

Drake has finally decided on the release date for his debut project "Thank Me Later". The highly anticipated album is supposed to hit stores on May 25.
I say it's about time. We will have to see what kind of momentum he builds up between now and the week of his album release. I think Drake has let his fire burn out. He will sell records but it will not be as many as he would have six months ago.

Here is the single from Nicki Minaj's untitled new project. I am not a fan of it but it will get some spins because we have been waiting for an official Minaj single. I am already anticipating her next single because this does not satisify my itch.

Usher feat. Nicki Minaj- Lil' Freak (Official video)
Here is the long anticipated official video for Usher's hot single "Lil' Freak". Once again we get to see Nicki Minaj in the feature role of a music video. Nicki Minaj and the women are looking good (had to make sure I seperated the two). Usher has plenty of freaks to choose from in this one!

Very creative song and video by Erykah Badu. She said that the moment her attire reached a "bare" minimum she felt so vulnerable but liberated. This video has been making it rounds on the internet and if finally making a stop here.

Diggy- Made you look (freestyle)
Diggy - Made you look Freestyle (Flow Stoopid) from Diggy Simmons on Vimeo.
This a shockingly dope freestyle by Diggy Simmons (Rev Run's son). I don't know what label he is on but he could get major attention because he can actually rap really well for an artist his age. It is just really weird to hear his voice so deep after watching almost every episode of Run's House where we pretty much watched him grow up. Well he is no longer "Little Diggy" he is now "Diggy the lyricist" and this video is indisputable evidence of this. Watch and enjoy!

Should we get excited about Bret Hart vs Vince Mcmahon?
The biggest news to hit the wrestling world last December was Bret Hart signing a contract to return to the WWE. It gave the WWE momentum in the Monday night battle between Raw and TNA Impact.
Now we are a week away from Wrestlemania and one of the biggest headline matches is Bret Hart vs Vince Mcmahon. The idea is that Bret goes into the match looking to avenge himself after what Mcmahon has done over the past few months and what he did years ago when he screwed Bret out of a win versus Shawn Michaels at Survivor Series.
The build-up would make for an exciting match if we were talking about two well conditioned wrestlers that are prepared to go to almost any limit to provide the fans with a spectacular match. Well the reality is... we're not.
Bret had to step away from wrestling "forever" because of a concussion he suffered at the hands of Goldberg over ten years ago. He is much older now and probably lost most of what he once had in the ring. Is he going to be ready to jump off of a ladder onto a Vince Mcmahon that lies belowing waiting on a table with a trashcan over his body? Heck no.
I don't think I need to go into a whole lot of detail about why Vince Mcmahon will not deliver a great wrestling performance. Here is a little hint, HE'S NOT A WRESTLER!
The return of Bret Hart is the best part of this match. We have already experienced the climax of this storyline. So don't go into this one with overwhelming expectations because they will not be met.
I expect to see alot of punching, kicking and poor grappling in this match. I do not expect to see a picturesque Wreslemania moments that we got from Mcmahon's last Wrestlemania match vs Shawn Michaels.

Drake - Shut it down featuring The-Dream
Wow. This is a great collabo and a good look for Drake. This song gives him a stab at the R&B sound and he kills it. The-Dream surprisingly complements Drake here. I wonder who wrote what since Drake says he doesn't use ghostwriters and The-Dream writes everything for everybody. The chorus has the signature sound of The-Dream so I think Drake to a backseat for that part.
This song is more intriguing than the first single on the album, "Over". "Thank Me Later" is shaping out to be quite impressive.
